Ok, got my KA order turned in!

One of their cookbooks (the 200 year edition) was not excluded so that should be fun to look through. I found they have a stacked cooling rack that will help with my teeny tiny kitchen. And cake strips...they're supposed to keep cakes from doming as they bake.

Love getting new baking things (and the 10% off helped too) :D

@N F C I made the hummingbird cake last night, I couldn't sleep due to a nap yesterday afternoon. I'll be frosting it this morning after the butter and cream cheese soften.
I toasted the pecans too.

It smelled like heaven in the house when I went to bed. :drool
That looks so good!

That’s all I use is a dish towel on the cake after it comes out of the oven and the dome flattens. I leave it on just for a little bit.

Well smack my head, never heard of using a dish towel for that. If the strips don't work as advertised, I'll use your way so thanks!

Baking boxes from KA are like what you'd need to make a specific dish...like cake pops or such. Here's a link to what they include:

I've never tried one yet but mostly because they haven't been for anything I particularly want to make.

I tried it on my sisters wedding cake and my nieces graduation cake and it worked good. I suppose the towel steams it down. It makes the cake denser but I had lots of compliments. Those baking boxes are spendy.
