That's what I keep thinking too, but I'm not sure who was more excited on the way home yesterday, me or DH.

Just tell DH that every cop is required to have a GSD...or two...or three.

eh, he'll probably just sit on him.

Or do the classic Jax Squash With the Paw as long as he is small enough, and then sit on him when he is no longer paw squashable.

I am threatening to buy a baby carrier - the kind you strap on - and carry the pup around in it until such time he's no longer in danger of the paw squash. I'm only half-joking.

Oh Kat, He is a beaut!!

My sister got a retired Marine GS full bred german! He is HUGE! But, he is such a wonderful, wonderful dog. The military retired him after the sand in Iraq gave him a skin disorder. He looked so mangey when she first got him. But, he looks better now!

I really prefer a big dog. It's just me, I want a dog that is a dog.

Good luck to you!

Aww, he is adorable!!!

My 'little' (115lbs) Gracie, also a GSD, is the best dog I have ever owned. My family jokes that she is disgustingly loyal; she never leaves my side.
