baby duck with lots of problems

You are so right Patty, that is their natural little body odor. And yes, they do bathe in their water dish. It is so cute. They make these exciting jit jit noises and their eyes get all big and they flutter about violently in the dish scattering water all over the floor. It is so cute to watch. they get pretty waterlogged and have a rough time flying to their perch to preen and I call them little wetlets. And, yes, they are the most love finch ducks in the world. I am always so stunned by their cuteness. their faces…..

Well duh of course I forgot all about them being finch ducks. They just naturally take to water.

If you can video them I would love to see a pic of them taking a bath in their dish. Well Julie what are you thinking they need little towels to dry off when their done.

They can fly up to their perches easier when they dry off first.

Ode Duck a new fragrance in perfume. Kind of like when one of our dogs rolls is something really stinky and comes inside thinking he smells so heavenly. Pew Wee we call that ode De dog.

Hello dear lady! Prayers & love & such!!

Can't wait to get home to watch that finch-duck bath!

Just for Julie, here's another honorary finch-duck taking an adorable bath!
awe, Amy, thank you for posting that. So precious. Loved his little wings making that flappy fluttering sounds and then he gets up on the guy's shoulder. Weeeeeee, I love finch ducks.

Heehee so true Patty. Next time I hear one of them flapping in the water, I'll go take a pic or phone video and post here. I wish they would do it in my hands like the one did in his owner's but they are petrified of hands. Kinda like Amykins' Bean. If mine we're not so terrified of being handled I'd do it all the time.
