Does anyone know why chickens would all be limping on the same foot? All of my girls are limping like crazy. I thought one just stepped weird or something and then I noticed they all were, two don't even move, just lay there in the shade, the other two can still scratch around but I don't know what it could be?

Gosh I don't know, I have a Brahma hen limping right now too I figured since she is a heavy breed she must have hurt her leg jumping off the roost yesterday I lowered them all. She is still limping today day 2. I have been keeping her in a smaller part of the yard so she doesn't over do. Did you check their feet for bumble? but I doubt very seriously they all would have it. Wish I could help I am stumped. Lets see if @casportpony might have any suggestions.or may know of someone on the chicken side of BYC who can help.

I know. Plus there's the issue of keeping your birds safe. How is Uno's wing?

Uno's little wing is still sticking up. I will probably have to wait until he molts to try again. I found his vet wrap on the ground the other day. He got it off.

If no one knows on this thread I'll make an actual one I'm the chicken injuries section..i did check for bumble foot, one looked like it maybe had it but none of the others, and the foot that looks like it might be isn't the one she's limping on. I'll continue to watch her foot but that's obviously not it since the limp is the other side. They can go on our patio, which is concrete, they hang out on it a lot when they miss us. It got super hot today, could that be it?

Glad that is finally over, what teenagers you talking about Patty?
I call the 7 chicks that I bought in the spring teenagers. They really aren't teenagers anymore since most of them are laying now. I think Autumn the little EE is laying pink eggs. Now all I need is for Bee Bee to lay a blue one. She hasn't started laying yet.
