He's supposed to send me some pics later. He also has fantails. I think I'll meet him at a swap this weekend.

I just googled an image, they look beautiful! At the stables there was some white pigeons with simalar wing colours to the black chequered. I really wanted to catch them. They're gone now.

I wonder if they will be back next spring? Or do pigeons do that, fly back to a nest sight in spring?

There was too many pigeons there so they called in pest control, kind of gone. I wanted to trap some to try and rehome but by the time I got sorted it was too late. Its a shame but I can understand. There was literally hundreds and they were making quite a poopy mess. There's still a few there but I'll leave them.

Ordering Pen's Flight Suit today from Avian Fashions! Today Pen ate treats (sunflower seeds) from my hand for the first time, but no patting still. Pen does love to perch on us though. Pal looks on and coos from time to time, but they don't really hang out together that we have seen.

Pal's Flight Suit was a little snug, so we're exchanging it (awesome customer service from the folks at Avian Fashions!).

It's interesting that Pen prefers to sit on one of us or next to us, but Pen doesn't want to be patted or touched. Pal, on the other hand, likes to be scratched and patted, but has never voluntarily landed on one of us.
