It makes me wanna give them lots of treatsHere is the Nankin x Cochin! *I think, I didn't band it and it is with similar chicks, but even if it isn't it still has Cochin in it* she has fowl pox right now but it is going away

That would be super pretty! I love that laced look so much!Looking at the above photo of Bootsie (Red bantam Cochin X LF Buff Brahma cockerel), he looks pretty much the same as my buff brahma rooster. And given the similarities between brahmas and cochins (not with regard to breed standards but to the casual observer who sees a large, plump bird with feathered feet), I'm wondering about crossing my buff brahmas with some gold laced cochins I happened to come by. The lacing will take several generations to make an appearance, and I read it will take even more generations to form a nice pattern, but it seems doable. Imagine crossing Bootsie with these gold laced cochins:
