Okay, I picked up 4 “assorted bantams” from my local Southern States and I’m a little worried about my roo. I’ve figured out that he’s a rooster and a barred rock. Only thing is, he is dramatically bigger than my other 3 bantams. This is my first time raising bantams & I’m getting a little worried that he may just be a plain ole big barred rock rooster. Anyone know?

Was he bantam size as a chick? Hard to say by pictures without some other birds for reference.
As chicks they were all four the same size, he quickly got much bigger than the rest, but was also the last to get feathers. That’s why I’m thinking he may just be a late bloomer bloomer lol (He’s the one with the yellow dot on his head & the middle chick in the second photo)
