There's quite a few options...where is she from?

I got her from a feed store. They get their chicks from hatcheries. They didn't tell me where from tho. They said from different hatcheries.

I see this on here all the time! Is my barred rock a hen or a rooster. "Her" comb isnt bigger than i have seen on others online. But just big enough for me to worry. All 4 of my ladies are about 12 weeks old. Maybe more. I honestly cant remember. Just looking for clarification.

Yes. EEs aren't a real breed; they just usually lay blue, green or brown eggs and have beards, muffs and pea combs.

I honestly don't know. Maybe mixed with a penciled rock? Her face has no beard, muffs yet nor she has a pea comb. Is there any breed DNA test available out there? Haha

You might not be able to tell for sure. If she's just for eggs and pet or whatever, it's not a big deal. She is pretty! There might be...lol.
