Blood ring? Or something else? Quail egg

Day 5 of incubation. I think I may have a temperature problem.
One of my eggs has this line on it. Is it a blood ring? It’s just as much as shown here not a circle. I don’t see any veins but I don’t see any on the other eggs either.

I'm afraid that that's indeed a blood ring... Try getting a temperature gun at Lowes, but definitly try getting an incubator thermometer!

I would say to wait another day or so just to check, however, the embryo most likely passed on early development. It happens, don't get upset.
