Bright green runny poop & squishy crop - please help, desperate!

Don't ever do this again.
You are supposed to mix the 1/2 teaspoon of Corid with 2 teaspoons of water and give just a little bit of that mixture to the bird.
Corid Oral Drench Instructions

I have been offline today...how if she now?

Oh crap, I don’t know how I read that so wrong!! I didn’t give it to her today at least. She seems about the same, she’s slept all day and doesn’t have any energy. I was able to get some food mash down her two separate times. It’s a mix of mashed up all flock crumbles, electrolytes, and a dash of cinnamon & garlic. Her crop didn’t completely empty between the first time I fed her & the second time, but it was smaller. Her poop has also firmed up a little, but it’s still bright green.

Is she drinking the water on her own?
She’s drinking some water. Not much though. I’m ending up giving her a fair amount of water in the mash, I have kind of a small syringe so it has to be pretty liquidy to get it down her. It’s still probably not enough, but it’s something.

A little is better than none.
:thumbsup
Make sure you don't force this down the wrong pipe, as little as one drop down the wrong hole will kill her.

Yes I was reading about that, so I’m not squirting it very far down her throat and sticking to the corner so it doesn’t go down the wrong pipe. I think I’ll try the tube feeding tomorrow though, it seems safer and more effective.

Great!

I have seen her yawn/open her mouth and shake her head once or twice this evening. Could this have to do with her crop not emptying properly? Is there anything I should do about it, or just let her be?

Well hazel seems about the same this morning. Her crop was almost empty but not completely. I gave her a little bit more feed mash, but not a lot yet. She did have two droppings that weren’t bright green...the first that haven’t been green in five days. I’m hoping that’s a good sign!
