If it is indeed broken, vet care is best, but sometimes that's just not an option.

You would want to examine closely to make sure no bones are poking out of the skin. The wing bones are fine and small, so take your time looking her over, looking for any broken skin. You may see a bit of a greenish color, this is bruising, take note of those areas.

While you are looking her over, see if there's any other injuries that may have been missed and hidden under the feathers.

Here's a splinting guide that you may find helpful.

She is eating and drinking well. Her wing will stay up if I hold it up for a few seconds it stays in place

Update. She still has a very droopy wing but she can flap it and when she stretches she also extends her wing. I did not see any broken skin but at the same time she was being very squirmy. She seems slightly uncomfortable to the touch of her wing and I might need a second pair of hands to help me examine her properly. Other than that she is acting like a normal chicken.

I have a barred rock that got its wing chewed to a stump, got some advice here. i removed the stumped and she healed up just fine. If the wing can now be moved on your bird id just keep treating her for shock and eventually get her back with the other ladies. You might need to adjust the roosts for her if that wing isnt in tip top shape. my nemo has a short ladder i need to replace with a roost ladder.

Chickens are quite resilient i have learned.
