Actually I'm pretty sure that whole thing about not using the pain relief stuff has been debunked.You were given good advice on how to treat it. Having antibiotics on hand don't do a thing for the problem. Having the required items to soak the foot, but not actually soaking the foot doesn't do a thing for it either. Just waiting to see what happens is not going to solve anything, and the foot will get worse. Please, start soaking the foot in warm epson salts water for at least 15 minutes a day, then apply neosporin WITHOUT pain relief heavily to the toe area. I'd do the neosporin 3 times a day.
