Thank you. When I dug into her bumble for the second time, seemed like there wasn't a kernel. Dug downward toward the pad and finally saw that telltale white/ yellow. Had to open that part a bit more to get it out. Guess I had totally missed it the first time. Flushed it, packed antibiotic ointment in, bandaged and left it on for 5 days. It healed up nicely afterwards. Those bumbles can be buggers! All the blood from it scared me too. Have to be brave, like the video I had seen. I also hate being the cause of pain for any of my girls. Good luck, keep at it.
