BYC Café

Oh wow, had to look that up. I bet that is good! I broke my coffee pot a couple years ago and resorted to boiling it on the stove for a few days. It was so good? As if it was "cleaner" tasting or something.
I gave a moka pot to my sister for Christmas one year. She did not think she would like it but uses it nearly each morning before work. The moka coffee is between espresso and regular coffee. My DW says it is like coffee candy when milk is added. I like it with a bit of irish cream too!

Wow! That sounds great! :droolI don't know what it is. I need to google it.

Got this from one of my suppliers today. Apparently, it looked like I needed help getting through these crazy times :gig

I went to a supermarket today. I won't be doing that again until this bit of madness is over.
I bought 5kg of brown rice, 5kg of brown sugar, a couple of Italian pizzas, 3 jars of Sicilian pesto and some chocolate.
Only ten people allowed in the store at a time.
Disinfectant hand wash when you go in and supplied with plastic gloves which you trash on exit. Very weird.
My man down the track has a shed load of wild boar in his freezer and more smoked and dried hanging in his larder. I'm swapping eggs for meat.
Got nisperos ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loquat ) growing here and ripe so there is fruit. The cherries will come on as the nisperos fade; then the tomatoes will be edible so that's vitamin C covered.
Anything else vegetable wise I can barter for, or get in the village from the local growers.
I wish I knew a bit more about herbs for cooking. The other sort are not in short supply around here.:D
Give me a shout when it's all over.
