That's weird to have so many so close. I am July 3rd. Hummmmm!
I could go for an ice cream cake followed by a cup of hot coffee!
Yesterday was spent with my middle sons, cutting down trees and stacking slash for a neighbor. Then we were all famished so we kidnapped DH and went and got pizza and a beer.
Good day was had by all, ceptin for the beetles in the trees. They could have had a better day....

For my birthday cake (august 8) I make Pumpkin pie! I am the only one who eats it but it is my favorite!

Good morning!
Foot camping first and then riding and then horse camping. Really though, he has to get back from camp and then the Fourth. I do not go into the forest on the Fourth. I stay way far away and this year, there at least is no fire danger. Half the time I stay close to the house in case someone does start a forest fire near us. Currently, I have a hay crop around my house, which I am weed whacking and letting dry for the chooks. My raspberries are going to be phenomenal! No complaints! We are usually the ones in the news burning down. I wonder if Alaskan is okay. It is incomprehensible what is happening up there and my heart goes out to them.

I also stay home and encourage my adult children to do the same Drinking Driving and fireworks spells trouble to me not independence.
