Chilly here this morning. It's 23* but feels like 14* with snow expected later today

Good morning all! Finally got the chores caught up so I can cluck around here for a minute. Got to move all my house plant out around the pool so they don't get sunburned or full of ants. Then i can work on cleaning the sunroom. Yay!

As for Peekaboo she has to take 3 ml of clavamox every 8 hours until this Saturday. She doesn't eat well enough to be able to hide it in her food, sadly. Also has a pretty strong aversion to her beak getting sticky, so not thinking rice pudding would tempt her much. But I appreciate the suggestions! We just double team her! Hubs holds while I give drops in the beak. That way not much is wasted.

Now this may seem like an ordinary picture and you may well wonder what the fuss is about.
This is Fat Bird and Treacle!!!
Fat Bird (she's almost nine years old) normally wouldn't let some young rooster anywhere near her. What's more, yesterday I saw Fat Bird crouch for Treacle.
Fat Bird has got a toy boy.

That’s alright!! Just jump back in!! I am about to make some eggs and toast and spinach if anyone wants anything. Have OJ, coffee, bacon, etc. too.

Oh and I haven’t posted in this thread yet but have on other threads but.... my baby chicks finally shipped this morning!!

Thankfully OH to MA isn’t too long of a trip and my last ones arrived next day but they also shipped a little over an hour earlier (9:50 something instead of 11:02) so we will see if that affects it at all... and yes I checked LOL inpatient and hadn’t gotten an email yet and was getting worried

Anyway, it does say they can arrive from Tuesday through Thursday but I am preparing for tomorrow.
