We could. Since he already has the genotypes in there, we could take his instead of spending the time to code our own.
I would just change it so that what appears to the user when selected, is just the common words of "Buff, lavender, barred, cuckoo, partridge, etc"
I think the bigger challenge for us will be creating the comb, feathered feet, number of toes, skin color, etc from scratch. That code does not already exist.

Did you see that he used Arrays for the genotypes?
We will likely have to do this.
