Calcium balls attracted to egg?

Hi all
One of my hens (I am not 100% sure which one) has been for the past 2 weeks atleast, probably longer laying eggs with what I am assuming is calcium deposits attached to the shell of the eggs. They are super tiny round balls some of them rub off but most are super stuck. It almost looks like sand but there is absolutely no sand on our property. Does anyone have any idea on what could be causing it and if it means anything for my hen?

Not too unusual, might be just a shelling gland glitch, or she may always have them on her eggs.
How old is this bird, in months, and how long has she been laying?
What all and how exactly are you feeding?

I’m glad it seems to be nothing sinister. They’re all around the 8 month mark and have probably been laying for around 2 months.
They’re free range, fed a premium layer mix and have access to shell grit. It’s only 1 of the hens that seems to lay these eggs, I’ve never had this happen with a hen before so it stumped me a little

Calcium (such as oyster shell). In some countries it may be called soluble grit instead.
