Call Ducks Finally Hatched

I don't know how people incubate their call eggs at 30-40% humidity. I have 2 that have internally pipped and they look almost as bad as Lori's did with the fan incident. I just can't keep humidity down with all this rain we've been having. I haven't added a drop of water and still humidity has been in the upper 20s to high 30s. Uggg. I hope they make it out. I will be there to help as soon as they start zipping. They're not actually due until Monday but everything I put in this incubator seems to hatch a day early. Will watch for external pips and be up all night waiting for zipping if I have to

Oh no. I hope they were able to make enough warmth for themselves to stay alive

My batch of 30 last year were all sticky remember? Have a feeling that these are going to be the same. Still no external pips. I think I'm going to go ahead and safe hole them tonight. I hope they make it but not having much hope right now.

Don't make the safe hole!! Lower the humidity get it down as much as you can. You may be able to get them to absorb the liquid it's going to take them longer to come out but as long as they keep moving they shouldake it.

Now I've read raise the humidity but I can't see how that is going to do any good. But you can try that too.

I think I'm gonna have the same issue my fan was off temp went Down to 80 humidity went up to 65 grrrr still have another week to go with your eggs ahhhhhhhhhhh this suckssssss

For mine I had made safe holes and it did not help at All

how long???

Had someone hit a power pole out here and we were without power for about 5 hours. I had my dad drag out the generator after 30 minutes.

His comment "I paid $500 for this thing to keep some **** eggs warm"

What day are they on?? May just give them longer. Mine are all hatching late. Lots on day 27, I even had one hatch day 29. He was still moving so I just left him alone and sure enough he pipped on day 29
