Oh Invader Zim! I have all three "seasons" on disc! That was one of the best shows. I had a teacher back then who was JUST LIKE Ms. Bitterz. In fact, that's even what we called her.

'was' the key word. All the good shows are being cancelled like Danny Phantom and IZ... grrr. o.o Just like Ms. Bitters? Scaaary. I pity you:p

I cant believe I 4got to put pirates on the list of things I love. Go to my My Space and look at the pics of me and my son Memphis dressed up as Chucky and Tiffany for Halloween. He was the perfect doll size. We were all pirates for his first birthday party. Maybe we'll be zombies for his 2nd. I was watching a werewolf movie the other day and he points at the screen and says "Woof woof!" He's already down with monsters. He's my zombie baby.

WillsMama....they had gone as far as casting the Mayfair Chronicles at one point. Laura Linney had signed on as Rowan. It was supposed to be a miniseries for HBO or one of those movie channels. I guess it never got made, though. Given the Queen of the darn fiasco, maybe it's just as well. I read an interview with the director, and even he hated that movie lol! He said the studio forced him to combine the 2nd and 3rd books into one movie when you can't even do justice to one of her books in one movie. He said miniseries would be a much more appropriate medium. The studio's rights on the movies were about to run out, though, and they didn't want her to resell them, they wanted to film while they could. Shame. Her later vampire books would be great movies, as well...I'd love to see Pandora on screen!
I'm glad I'm not the only nut into vampires and such! lol Now should I tell my recurring dream about running on all fours like a wolf???

Anne Rice equals love. And I love me some gay vamps, I gotta say. I'm kinda a yaoi fan. If you know what that is, three cheers for you. If you don't, DONT GOOGLE IT! You've been warned! *smiles innocently* I did enjoy Interview with a Vampire, but probably only because I saw the movie before reading the book. Queen of the darn is ust funny, and I've seen it a million times and laugh without fail. I love books on tape, and there's nothing like listening to some Anne Rice on a stormy night when you're falling asleep. Good stuff.

Invader Zim is pretty much the best thing ever. I swear to god, I see the world in the same sickening yet funny way it's depicted in IZ. I have a little banner of Gir stuffing his face with candy that says "I looooove candy!" above my bed. Why? Because it's Gir.

Here's a good series that I know most of you will love. It's by Kim Harrison, and the first book is called Dead Witch Walking. Cheesy cover art, brilliant on the inside. It's pretty much about how werewolves, vamps, pixies, faeries, witches, and elves all used to live amongst us but hid from humanity because they were worried about being persecuted, but after an epidemic that wiped out most of humanity until it was the same size as the "magical" society, everyone kinda said "well to hell with it" and "came out of the closet" it terms of speaking. Now there's two separate governments, one for humans and one for everyone else, and it's funny and sad and very intense. I'd recommend it highly. And if you guys haven't read Twilight by Stephenie Meyer you should be shot. For real. They're making a movie out of it, hopefully it wont fail at life like most vampire books gone hollywood... x.x

XD That's awesome! If you like IZ you should check out Jhonen's other stuff; it's more violent and less cartooney but still has that sardonic outlook.

Oooh, I've read her stuff! They were pretty good. The thing I liked kost was her main character hasn't become an idiotic 'perfect' person whom everyone fears/loves and who has a lot of power and a lot of hot guys nuts....
