For soaking them, I put mine in a small tub. This girl has gotten pretty good about it, but she eventually gets antsy. We held her in place before and of did she want to leave.
I have seen suggestions about putting a fence around the tub for especially difficult to handle ducks. That way they can't get out. I think someone put a cover with a head hole for one duck. Overtime the ducks do get used to be handled this way, but it can be tiring to get to that point. I played music one time and it seemed to settle one of my ducks down.
