I just went back and looked at your coop... It is VERY doable! Nice square design... easy to move walls....I could do something like that, your idea makes sense and doesnt seem too hard

Absolutely, if you want them to live.Should we keep the windows open?
I dont have any ventilation at this moment (I know, I should get on that). I think i might be better to keep the water outside in case of frostbite for my coopI keep water in the coop and in the pen.
It's snowing here, nearly 10 inches at 6 am.
I cleared the snow around the coops and neither the pullets nor hens will come out this morning.View attachment 2452746View attachment 2452747

My coops are well ventilated. GC
no!!!! do no put the water in the coop it will cause moisture and frostbite. If you can after snow calms down put or make some ventilation.Should I put the water in with no heater even with bad (no) ventilation?
Ok, thank youno!!!! do no put the water in the coop it will cause moisture and frostbite. If you can after snow calms down put or make some ventilation.
I cant add ventilation in this moment but when the snow stops I will, I am a newbie to chickens so I had no idea. You really should get ventilation in there ASAP.... Its not healthy at all for them to not have it. The ammonia build up alone is so very harmful! Not to mention they are exhaling moisture in the air!
Cut holes at the roof gables and cover with hardware cloth. How do I add ventilation, I know its a stupid question but still
