I contacted LMEggs, and as of March 2nd, all she had was pullets that she was unwilling to part with, and she was looking for a roo to go along with them.

You can find GL Bantam Cochins on eBay right now - don't know much about how good their type is - the pic isn't all that great.

i just ordered a partridge cochin to go along with my other 7 chicks in my order from MPC. i'm new to cochins, but i hear that they're super sweet! are they kinda like orpingtons in their disposition? also, i know they probably lay brown eggs....but are they light brown or dark brown? i know the orpingtons lay a light brown......are they close to that color or darker? thanks for any info! i wanted a white cochin, but i couldn't order one cuz they didn't have any available on my ship date. but the partridge is pretty too! oh, and about how big do the hens get? they're a large bird right?

Here is a picture of the Bantam Partridge Cochins that my oldest DS picked out to raise for 4-H, they are about 5-6 weeks old at this point. Not sure what we have yet but they are friendly enough and easy to handle. The leg feathering is neat.

Well, I have some LF Cochins that are about 2 weeks. Here is a pic of a Partridge stretching. (behind is GL and Barred)

They are soooo curious. It was really hard to get a pic because they would all do this...

They would come right up to the camera too. so most shots were fuzzy.
