Cochin Thread!!!

Thank You. I wish I had better pics of Lucky on the computer. My cochins are all over the place with type. These are the older ones. But when I take pics of the younger ones then they will be more uniform and more mine.

Got Snapper from Pat Lacey and Lucky, Boo and Bear from MotherGoose on here (Kristie Ritter) and not sure where I got the eggs from.

My mottleds get more speckles as they get older so yours probably will too.

I think the cochins are really cute with their little fluffy butts and feet. I got some of my own finally and they they are super! The colors they come in are just beautiful.

I have a bantam cochin rooster, who I think is a partial lemon blue. From pictures I have seen on the internet, looking up the difference between blue and a lavender...
I found pics of lemon blues and my fellow looks like he might be either a two color cross OR a a poor specimen of a lemon blue...
Can you let me know??

He is a pretty color. I think (but dont know) that lemon blue is a project color? I think he looks like he may be a wyandotte mix?.

Real pretty.

My lemon blues have more of the lemon color in them. I don't think this is a cochin from the angle of the picture, doesn't look like the legs are feathered.​
