Cochin Thread!!!

I'm wanting some standard Golden Laced Cochins and was wondering If anybody who has some is going to be going to the Crossroads of America Poultry Show in Indianapolis, Or if you live around Eastern KY?

I have a red Frizzle that I named Lucy because as a youngster she was constantly finding ways to get into trouble....stuck in the fence, getting out and then upset to not be able to get back in, getting stuck in a tiny briar patch in her pen, trying to jump on the water container she knocked it over and set up to hollering about it, etc. Hence my red headed trouble making girl became Lucy.

I like the name Reba, as well! Maybe my next one........

I have a Scarlet, a buff/red looking Sizzle pullet.

I hatched out 8 lemon blue, splash and red/brown bantams out of 11 eggs. I have 1 lemon blue pullet and the other 7 are cockerels!!!!

Any help in picking out a cockerel to keep down the line, or should I keep more than one cockerel?

These girls are F4's & 7 months old. I'm still working on them breeding true for color. Spring 2012 should prove to be an interesting wait in this breeding project
