Aww bless! Try some puppy kibble along with his feed. Make sure it’s small enough he can swallow. Or kitten food dry for both. He’s been through an awful lot.

I think he hates me right now because yesterday when I gave him a watermelon rind with lots of watermelon still on it, he stared at it for half an hour before actually eating it. He usually gobbles it down right away.

Today after waking up at 5am, I tried to refill his water and he kept biting me. I had to keep him on one side with my free arm while I poured the fresh water into his bowl.

I just checked on him and he's finally relaxing. All morning he'd been walking around in a circle so I kept putting very tiny treats in his food bowl to keep him still.

I don't know. He doesn't look like he's in pain.
He's also being quiet.

Ducks don’t show pain like us humans hopefully he’s just uncomfortable being he is missing feathers. Maybe a nice warm bath would make him feel better too.
