I think one or both of the hens may have attacked them because everytime they walked past the ducks, Colonel and Duchess run away.

I’d work on getting the mamas and babies out of the ducks area before someone gets hurt.

My dad was able to get them out yesterday when he got home. I keep trying to get new photos of Colonel & Duchess but because we still have puppies running about, I can't because they would rather hide.

They're German Shepherd and Dutch Shepherd mixes.

I think I’d hide to if I was a duck. They can’t get in the yard with your birds right?

Not now they can't. My dad was really angry that they kept getting in so he went nuts with fixing everything he could.
It's not their fault though that they got a taste of bird, their mother Mika showed them how to get in the yard and then showed them how to attack the birds. She normally doesn't do this but I think raising puppies switched her hunting instincts on because our other dogs know not to attack the birds.

Who did they kill? Yep mama dogs even though fed good still think they are suppose to fed their pups by hunting. I am glad to hear all your birds are safe. How many dogs do you have?
