this is my girl who’s laying! i just came in from getting her egg, she lays around 11-12pm every day. i’m not 100% sure what breeds any of mine are! all three are mixes, im incredibly bad at coming up with names so right now only my top hen (the one in the pics) has one that started off as a joke with my mom, but grew on me. we’ve been calling her gobble guts because she steals all the treats and has the biggest personality out of all three haha

Gobble Gut is an AMAZING name! She’s very pretty! Nice hair-do with her giant comb!!

i’ll take any chance i can to share pictures of my babies haha! they experienced snow for the first time today and definitely are not into it. but these are my other two, pictures taken a week or two ago so combs n such have gotten redder since then. i absolutely love taking front on, close up pictures if you couldn’t tell. my girls are so used to it now that they usually pose for the camera. the last two are my lil silkie cockerels who turn 7 weeks tomorrow i think

Nicey- the most friendly, treat obsessed chicken of the bunch laid her very first (and my very first) egg! SHES SERIOUSLY THE BEST!
