I’m honestly thrilled! I can’t get over it! I was being soooooooooo dramatic about not getting any eggs and now it happened!!!!

WE HAD A TWO EGG DAY.

I went out there at lunchtime and Henrietta was in the nest box!

I never in a million years thought she would be one of my first layers. She’s an EE with the gray beard. And she LAID THE CUTEST LITTLE EGG EVER

Here are the first eggs and a store-bought for comparison

When I went to collect Henriettas egg, Nicey was in the box! She’s the one who laid an egg yesterday! Here is her precious 2nd egg!

I am so floored. And grateful.

I’ve been following your progress my 6 ladies are around the same age as yours, I had a surprise when I got home from work the song was being sung and my petite little Easter egger Alfredo who is at the bottom of the pecking order was laying. Shortly after the buff orphington Nugget decided she couldn’t let her sister out do her!!! EEs must be earlier layers? I was shocked!
