Not crazy at all. I have half of my store bought coop set up in my family room (remade attached garage) currently housing my 4 pre adult chickens.

Cobalt is up to 8 only 3 fertile and the other hen is up to 5 none fertile. I think it’s this stupid weather that’s screwing them up

Oh yes. This is when it was "heated" and all the windows were closed, in the winter. No more heat, however feeble. And windows with hardware cloth (on 3 sides!).

Mine stay in my kitchen. None occupying it currently, but we have close to 30 eggs in the batore, and 15 under some broodies outside.plus my adorable little ducklings out there to.
