Crazy easy way to make hard boiled eggs

Amazing! I haven't been able to make (& peel) a proper deviled egg in 2 years since I got chickens - just made a dozen and didn't have a single peeling problem. Just salt... whod've thunk it

So as I am sitting here eating my very ugly peeled boil egg I thought lets see if other people are having the same problem and I found this wonderful gift!!!

I am going to try it right now!!

I know, it's soooo awesome. I've almost regret making egg salad, but DH wanted it for lunch, then the kids did also. So I gave in.

The dogs however HATE this method. They want their eggs back please.

I'm gonna go give it a try. I use my oldest eggs when I boil them (usually try to keep a couple dozen in the back of the fridge for that) Update to come

Wow, I cannot wait to try this method. We tried to hard boil eggs a few weeks ago and they did not peel at all. I was very discouraged. Thanks for the idea!

I've used this method several times since finding it, and have had no problem peeling the eggs. Finally was able to make deviled eggs for the first time in years.

2 years 3 months later, REMIND him how amazing he is and then tell us all how he goes about removing SOAP SCUM and ask him what really happens to the other sock that goes missing in the washing machine, Then report back to us all. Getting ready for Easter and still loving this little trick and have been sharing it with friends.

He's a true miracle worker.

Did this for Easter. I didn't peel them right away.I dyed the eggs with food color and a little vinegar after I cooled them. Since they were brown eggs the colors were a little muddy. I put them in the refrig overnight.Easter morning I cracked the shell and out popped a perfect hardboiled egg. They were so tender and the yolks were perfect. At last I can again make my creamed eggs on biscuits for Easter Morning. Thank you for your genius husband.
