Blue is also determined by a liver enzyme which will make it darker or lighter depending on liver health and function.

My inexperienced eye is going to guess two...the one in the middle with the white spot is a cockerel. The one directly behind with the distinct triangle is a pullet. The others seem mixed

There are two, that is correct but the one behind the cockerel is a hybrid CL x Barnevelder. The one to the left of him is actually the Legbar girl. Not a very good angle though.
Thank you so much for posting these and hatching this mix. It definitely does prove that the genetics make this an autosexing breed..... (they are just so dang cute!!
