Here is a close up of mine with NO sc row around it.

It might look like it has an sc row from a distance perhaps...

I think we were originally going to do a sc of LAMB color, I couldn't find that and then it was suggested the person putting the blocks together use LAMB to do that.

I did a flyby wallyworlds yarn dept earlier. The only lion's brand yarn they had was old people colors, no baby colors. So tomarrow when I take Alyssa to school after physical therapy, I'll check the other wallyworld for it. And if they dont have it, I'll check Micheals on the way back from wally.
Do you want me to get more of the berrylicious colors, since that seems to be the one we have the least amount of?
I found and grabbed some of that ECO brand yarn. They have a pink color called baby blush, and a kind of purpley color. I could toss in a few of those for other babyghans?

Amy if you can find Lamb that is what we are using for the first couple, but LC really is only one that needs it unless you want to to solids with it. The white would be great for the next batch as we will mix and match colors and patterns.

that baby hat is so cute

I vote for no single crochet stitching to finish them off.
I am doing just solid colors
I could only find sweet pea and bluebell?? Will that be ok? We are fifty miles to a Wal-Mart that carries that baby yarn and they didn't have much to select from. Since there were so many different hook sizes I picked up a G, F, and a J so hopefully I am covered.
