Crochet "Chat"

I started getting gray hairs when I was 17
hmm.png

I had never colored my hair until '07. Not because I wanted to hide the gray necessarily(cause there wasn't enough to hide yet), but because I wanted to
tongue2.gif
I loved it. I think I will keep doing it....when I can afford it. I have so much hair and usually it's really long, except for now, because I chopped it off recently, that it costs way too much to color my hair.

Have a nice day everyone!!!!

Hi Gang Sorry I don't have DSL at home right now, phone company is sending a tech out today to race down the line, we have phone noise issues and after that was cleared up then our DSL dropped out

So we have had to keep ourselves busy,

painting, potting plants, getting wood mulch layed out around our raised beds and moved the 3 and 4 week old chicks out of the house

I turned 52 April 14th. And my hair has been like this for about 4 or 5 years. Haven't colored since I went short. I'm the one in the white tshirt. The other BYC'er is Fudgie. I have a few more Natural Highlights than hers

Hi all!

I've got greys and I am in my late 30s.
tongue.png
I don't intend to really wash that grey right out of my hair right now. The coloring always fizzles my hair to a crisp.

I am being lazy today. No other word for it. No rest day, nothing, just lazy. It was supposed to be bright and sunny today, but it's kind of mostly cloudy. I need to get busy.

Hey can anyone tell me how long do ya usually leave fuzzies in the hatcher? I have 1 buff that will be 24 hrs old soon and another that hatched out this morning. No other pips yet so should I leave them alone a bit longer? I usually take them out as soon as they are fluffy and dry, but seems my hatch rate hasn't been great either when I do that. I didn't think these were ready to come out of the turner until tonight but the 1st baby hatched while it was still on. Taking a carolosel ride as it were
gig.gif
so DH and I took them out and split them up between 2 bators/hatchers one egg was stuck and the shell chipped off the bottom. That was the 2nd one that hatched this morning. Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks

Thanks for the prayers everybody. I finally got a chance today to get the front yard grass cut, weed the flower beds, remove the dead stalks, plant some more dianthus and marigolds, edge the lawn. I still have the back yard to do.

Karan, I'll bet DB thinks you are either his mummy or maybe a potential mate!

Just a FYI, Huggies Diapers is having a contest for a year's worth of diapers. I think the web address is Huggies.com.

Morning all. I think I am allergic to mornings. It's the only thing I can think of to explain my stuffy nose and runny eyes and sneezes every morning. Ugh...

Karan, I *love* DB, if you ever need to find him a new home for whatever reason (heavens forbid) I'll take him. His windblown picture makes me giggle. Hey, can I get an autographed picture of him some day? He's quite famous on our little thread.

Tomorrow is my doc appt at my new doc. Trying very hard not to be overly nervous since that will send my bp readings up for sure. Prayers that I like this new guy.

and that he's prepared for a high risk patient.

Not sure what I am going to do today. My allergy to mornings usually passes by 8:30 AM so maybe I will go back to bed then.

Good morning, everyone! Hope the sniffles & sneezes go away. For ALL of us!!
Karan, great picture! (And the one of you & Fudgie isn't bad, either.
lol.png
)Wouldn't it be fun to post all of our pics here? Like Ozark Hen said, that way we could put faces with names... I'll look for one when I get home. (Something that makes me look good.

Rocket, hope you like this new doctor. Check your pm's...
Chuck, your family continues in my prayers!

Semi-serious (& seriously dumb) question here - I've always heard the term, "mad as a wet hen." Yesterday, I heard it again, and instead of listening to the rest of the conversation, my mind immediately came to this board. Do hens really get mad when they are wet?
