Crochet "Chat"

Hey SunnyDawn~

Great to hear from you! Sorry I've been such a stranger to the site! Thanks for the stitch advice. I have never joined my squares for a blanket. Once I did for a small bag for my daughter, but can't remember what stitch I used and can't find the finished project around here. I think I also used slip stitch.

So glad you are game for the SWAP! YAY!!!!

Looks like we are slowly drumming up interest. Spread the word to our crochet friends.

Unfortunately it is paying postage twice.

All participates will mail their finished squares to me with return postage enclosed. I will sort the granny squares, so all participates get one square from each participate. Then I will use your enclosed postage to mail your your share of granny square swaps that are from each participate to you. It's the way we've done the granny square swaps in the past. That way you are getting a square from everyone that participated instead of exchanging with just one person.

Does anyone remember what we had to pay the last time we swapped? I think it might have been any where from $4-$8, but that was over a year ago. I will swing by the post office and see what they have available. I say the cheaper the better!

You can do any pattern granny square as long as the finished product is 6" square ~ (6"X6")

I don't really care if you make all the squares the same pattern or not. What is everyone's opinion on this?

I'm interested in a swap. How about using the flat rate envelopes?

Nice shawl! I love the colors and the chair you are using to display it!!!

I'm still trying to catch up on the pics of all the beautiful projects that everyone has posted.

Wow, that is lovely! I love the colours. Makes me want to dig out the shawl that I started making at least 6 months ago...
