Here is a great one that she can accessorize (or not) with whatever color scarf she would like. http://www.headhuggers.org/patterns/cpatt18.htmHi crocheters! I haven't been on here since summer, as I haven't touched a hook since then. I've made a few things before then like a purse, scarves, beanies, but just taught myself to crochet last year, so I'm far from experienced. I am looking for just the right pattern, that I would be capable of making.
My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer about a month ago. They have already removed the mass and done testing on it. Her cancer doc says it is the most aggressive tumor she has ever seen. So they are starting a very aggressive round of Chemo therapy on Monday. Of course, she will lose all of her hair. She says she refuses to wear a wig, & will just be wearing hats all of the time.
I want to make her just the perfect hat that will be cute, & stylish. It'll have to be light and somewhat airy, because she lives in Arizona (36 hours away from me), but not show too much of her baldness through it. I have purchased pink camo yarn, since she will be "going into battle", for the biggest fight of her life!! Any suggestions???![]()
