Crochet "Chat"

Made this little chicken bean bag, suitable for a paper weight. Probably wouldn't be heavy enough for a door stop unless filled with heavier stuff than dry pinto beans or it was larger, but it's easy to do.

Her name is Crochette. She is the perfect pet for those who are not allowed real ones. Beats the spurs out of a pet rock, lol.

I love her!!

Well I gave up on the idea of crocheting the 3D globe for a blanket, and changed to fabric and a curtain. I know it's not crochet (and this is a crochet thread) But thought you guys might like to see it anyway. The illusion is finished, but not the curtain.

I love illusion quilts, Kass!

I just finished this long chevron infinity scarf for a two day craft show & sale in Kentucky in mid-December. The pic with it wrapped is the true color-my house is so dark, it's hard to get a good photo after sunset. This is Red Heart Soft in Wine and Deep Leaf.

and I've made a couple of pet beds, started because of the cat we've unexpectedly acquired recently, but will be donating some to the humane society. The one my cat, Finn, is in has a stuffed edging, which he seems to really love.

Different pattern. About 12" diameter and 4" high.

I love both projects! I decided the scarf will go to someone on my Christmas list. I think I will try to use up some yarn on the cat beds and donate them with the stuff I keep saying I'm going to take over. Great ideas!!

PS - I see that hatching eggs box in the background

Yes, very old box there.

Made this cat cave and the pattern, which says use either tshirt yarn or Zpaghetti yarn, shows it standing up, but I used 3 strands together and it is a cat cave-IN, LOL. So, used a wooden hoop to bolster the entrance. Cat could snuggle inside or lay on top, of course.
