Has anyone ever thought about crocheting containers for air plants? I'm trying to make some as I bought a set of 3 air plants on Etsy and they're supposed to arrive today/tomorrow.

I've been doing more quilting lately then crocheting. Waiting on the last set of circle in squares from the recent swap to finish that one up. I was hoping to get my recent fusion quilt finished this past few weeks, but have been to sick to heft it around (it is really heavy) It is all together just needs finishing (binding the edges, crocheting on or two rows around the whole thing, hand blanket stitching the crochet and quilting edges together, and possibly quilting some stars where the sashing joins)

Not sure about this one. Turned out larger than it should have because I used With Love yarn rather than the Red Heart Soft and a 5.5 mm hook instead of a 5 mm because the With Love is a thicker yarn. Hat is a tad slouchy for me (I have very thin hair and a med head size). It would fit a med head on someone with thick hair or a larger woman's head size the way I did it.

Thank you! I love the hat itself. I may try another hat with the smaller hook. I did change to a 5 mm on the cluster rounds, but by then, it was a larger hat anyway and I had to do some decreases. I'll see if I have some thinner yarn. I do have a skein of Bernat Satin in Antique Rose (pink) and one of RH Soft in Wine, plus some off white that I think was Bernat Satin, label missing. I'm going to check for other yarns around here because I really wanted to do the hat in other than red or pink, but if that's what I have to work with, that's what I'll do.

I did do another one and it came out a bit smaller with a 5 mm hook and the red is RH Soft, but the variegated is RH With Love in Fruit Punch. Ever notice how the variegated With Loves are shinier and less plump than the solids? They really seem to be in between the Soft and the With Love in thickness.

Plus, I got a new phone and made a cotton case for it to protect the screen. Sorry, the table runner I'm making is not the best background to showcase the hat, LOL. Wow, busy, isn't it?
