I have a tip about drinking water....use a straw.
May sound silly, but my water consumption goes up if I sip with a straw.
Best Wishes Wed Okie!

Great tip!!! That is true for me also...don't understand it, but it is sooo much more enjoyable drinking water out of a straw than it is out of a cup, and I drink water so much better when using a straw than when just using a cup. whod'a thunk it?

Thanks everyone!!! I'm a little nervous. I really don't like the thought of being cut open, but it's better than the risks I feel I would be taking if I attempted to deliver VBAC with all I've got going on.

Hey everyone!! I have been lurking off and on but didn't want to post till my finger got better and I could type. I took the bandage off Thursday and it is closed and I can pretty much use it like normal now. Still forget and bump it sometimes.

My SIL just left. She wanted to watch me make jam so she can do it. Always more fun when you have someone in the kitchen with you. I made 4 pints of blackberry jam, 3 pints of blueberry jam and 4 pints of 60% blackberry, 40% elderberry, and 10% blueberry jam. I was trying not to waste my left overs. It turned out really good too!
I now have a half a bushel of peaches to put up. Not sure how much of it is going to be jam/preserves and how many I am just going to can.

I agree on the drinking water through a straw. Water is way easier that way. When you are preggers, and in the summer time, you can never drink enough!

I am going to have to try the straw thing. I remember thinking vaguely about it. I agree that it will help. Water gets so boring! I am tired of it already. With as straw it will be a bit more fun.

Everyone enjoy your Sunday. We have festivities in the area, one of which is the Great Circus Parade. http://circusworld.wisconsinhistory.org/ So we have a fun day ahead.

I really don't like water so for me to drink it I have to put lemon or lime juice in it. Just enough to give it a little flavor and oh yeah I drink it through a straw or squirt bottle! Makes it go a lot faster

I've got to watch the flavored waters for the sugars, but some of them are good. Best chilled. Lemons or limes...good idea. I always forget about those.

Made myself this goofy looking straw topped jar. Totally homemade looking, and it will never leave the house, but it's functional. It's a canning jar with a hole poked into the canning lid.

Not sure why I did it, other than the fact that I don't have any of those huge lidded plastic 32 oz cups and glass is better for you anyway.

I am addicted to perrier (sp) and poland springs lime carbonated water. It has no sugar or anything in it.
I also love crystal lite but its too expensive so I buy the store brand.I cannot stand fruit2 0 it has an aftertaste

My son and I are pretty much alike with the wter, we neither one ever leave the house without a bottle of water. I drink about a half gallon of water a day, it really gets to be habit. I do like my diet pepsi with my lunch though, lol!!

Decided to stop by befor bed and see how everyone is doing. I peeled a half bushel of peaches and canned 7 quarts and have enough left over to make into jam tomorrow. Ran out of time. Also helped my bro. juice a bushel of tomatoes. He wanted to see how my Jack Lalane juicer would do. It works lots better than the regular juicers that they sell with the canning supplies. I was kind of feeling bad for getting it since it is kind of expensive but now I think it was worth it.
Anyway going to be a hot one tomorrow so everyone get out your straws and start drinking that water!
Night everyone!
