I'm new on this thread so I hope you don't mind me jumping in. I also don't have the time to read all 500 or so pages to see if anyone has mentioned Ravelry.com? It's got patterns for both knitting and crochet and has all kinds of great search features. It's kind of the BYC for yarn addicts.

I do more knitting than crochet lately but I do enjoy both. My 16 yo dd is great at amigurumi patterns and has made several dragons. I like the ability to free form the patterns that crochet gives. Oh, and lace. I love crochet lace!

Just stopping by to say hello! I haven't been on the site in forever and I miss my chicken/crochet chat. Going into fall always gives me the itch to crochet. hahaha!!! I haven't picked up a hook in months and of course have lots of unfinished projects waiting for me.

thesewinglady~ I'm near Fairview Heights, Il. I'm sure there are lots of people in S. Illinois that have chickens. Where are you in Southern Il? My daughter spends a lot of time @ Camp Ondessonk.

Hope everyone had a lovely summer. I'll off to get my daughter's B-day gift. She turns 17 yrsold on Mon. Yep, it was a true Labor Day for me. hahah!!

I am making a shoulder wrap for my granddaughter right now. It's more for dress up than to keep her warm. I'll post a pic when it's done.​
