Okay stop telling this poster that the rooster is going to die or to give it away .didn't you see that they play with the rooster all the time ?
the solution is to find a couple of ladies for Majesty and the to fix whatever hole the Raccoon came through.
Zoey can you send us a picture of your Coop so we can look at it? then we can help you make it raccoon proof. okay meanwhile get that small cabbage for Majesty . and start looking around to see if you can find some started pullets for him okay? that way Mom won't have to wait as long to get her farm fresh eggs. you could even maybe get him a couple of full grown hens. that would work too.
Make sure whoever you get the girls from the they are not nervous hens. they don't run around and be scared and flighty. you want nice calm hens. like a Sussex or an Orpington or Wyandotte something like that. not a Leghorn or a nervous flighty chicken.
Check online to see if you have a local poultry Club. if so call the President of the club. They know everyone. they're very nice people . tell them what happened and ask them if they know anybody who has three hens or three started pullets .also if you're a junior ,make sure you tell them you're a kid . okay that will make a difference .
Okay you have a good day!
