ty, ya turned out well really makes me want the whole kitchen together but it is what it will be for now...until the shop goes in and @Sharps Big 50 has his wood working equipment here then he can build the cabinets and everything..this will move over about ten inches then......that door is the old furnace room the chimney needs to be demolished then that door will be sealed up and the laundry room will open on the other side...so that will be all counter and kitchen

I finished the chicken tractor today except the wheels......got the chicken door in it the chicks got to enjoy nibbling the grass and bugs..they are so relaxed when they are picked up..I slip my hand under their breast and they just lay there..I let them in it then put them in the henhouse at night and early morning...got a lil cooler tonight or I might have left them in there... been interesting watching the flock dynamics especially as Matty has left..the hens seem alot calmer...and Butler is a sweet gentleman with them...my son got a chicken valentines day education today..as he watched bulter mount violet...he was like are they.. I was yep...lol lil chicken love..

new micro vent installed cabinet stained and sealed, electric installed and outlet installed, breaker for dedicated circuit in... vent pipe to roof waiting for install but everything else is done

The brooder that once held the 26 Trader Joe's chicks (in my avatar) is now empty thanks to a day at the local poultry swap. Man, the guest room sure is quiet now!

Good Morning! Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day! I was running late for work yesterday and had no time to even touch the computer after work. Fed chickens after work and my legs FROZE! I had to take a shower immediately after feeding them because we went out to dinner and my legs were stinging so bad. I cant remember that ever happening. It was odd. The wind and cold is so so so bad. I know others have it much worse. Everyone be super careful out there.

Haircut turned out good. I wanted it shorter, but she wouldn't do it. She's the expert and she is also my zumba instructor. Therefore she said it had to be long enough for me to put it up in a ponytail

. She did cut off more than 10 inches, so I am able to donate it to Locks of Love. I'll try to post pics tomorrow. Finally get a day off! Work a split shift today with a 4hour gap

Well, they cut some trees down the road Friday and there is some along the road. So, this morning on my way to work, I am going to try to collect some of it since we are almost out if it is not froze solid to the ground. First I have to get the chickens some unfrozen water. Poor chickens and rabbits. So darn cold. Next year I will have water heaters for all the water receptacles. DH is not allowed out in this cold because of his heart.

I'll have to play catch up later. Those roosters are crowing because they know I am up. (I wake up my roosters
