do hatcheries sex the chicks them put in for warmth?

i was wondering this.. because if they sexed them, wouldnt that cost THE HATCHERY to sex them because they have to pay the sexers??

No, I don't think so. Most likely they throw in all males from the ones they have already sexed & separated. They would otherwise have to kill/dispose of the excess males.
