Ahhhh okay that makes sense. I would feel bad making them ignore each other LOL especially if they wanted to play LOL it’s one thing if they just naturally don’t want to LOL I understand your reasoning though lolYeah I get itI don’t like the idea of crate and rotate either honestly. Which is part of the reason why I have said numerous times I only want one dog. Chase will be about 9 when I get my dobie so if I do have to do a strict crate and rotate it wouldn’t be long. Optimum situation for me would be them ok with being around each other and not bothering the other dog. Then you only have to crate when you’re not there.
That said, you could potentially have to crate & rotate 6 years if he makes it to 15 LOL
Even just 12 is 3 years LOL
That is a long time to me personally but maybe not for you LOL
