Day 16 update!

They have started to migrate to hatching positions, I cannot see into the twins’ egg at all! Only through the air cell now and we still had movement. We’re getting down to the most crucial period, now is the time to start worrying!

When should I take the turner out and move into lockdown? Our eggs usually hatch on Day 19, so should I go into lockdown tomorrow or wait until the normal lockdown time of 18 days?

Oh wow. I really don't know, but my best guess would be to move them to lockdown tomorrow (Day 17).

I’ll do that tonight when I candle. I’m really hoping they don’t hatch until Friday, as this week I won’t be home until 4 central most of the time.

Hm...if your eggs normal hatch a day or two early then when do you normally take the turner out?

We’ve never had the turner before. We used broodies, and the eggs I incubated and hand turned to day 13 I had to give to a broody when the other started attacking hers. So I don’t know I’ll probably take it out tonight just because I won’t be home until late tomorrow
