I’m home! No chicks to report, I’ll candle tonight to check for internal pips. We’ve made it to Day 18!

Day 18 update!

No internal pips yet, the pink egg has movement for sure, the others didn’t show any movement but it’s so dark in the eggs now that I can’t give up hope on them!

I’m wondering if I should up the humidity more, it sticks around 58-61%. Is that enough? I’ve only ever finished out eggs because of a bad broody so this lockdown thing is new to me!

Good morning! I candled before I left for classes today and we don’t have any internal pips yet. I did see movement in all of the eggs though.

I usually shoot for between 65 and 70% humidity at lockdown.

It was at 68% this morning when I candled, which I feel is a good in-between point.
