Just checked the egg again, no movement still. My mom says she wants to give it another day but I'm thinking we need to act sooner rather than later.

Boomer is supposed to be out of surgery by now but we haven't heard anything and I'm getting anxious.

Boomer Update! He is out of surgery, and awake! We pick him up around 4:30pm.

We also have our first Australorp egg, only 8 more to go until we need that incubator ready.

Agreed. I haven't candled the egg again but it doesn't look or feel or sound any different

I opened the air cell a little bit. No peeping or any movement from what I can see inside. We’ve left it in the incubator and I’m cranking up the humidity since the membrane is exposed now. I think they’re gone though.

There was another member here, from way out on the coast of Md that had Nankins. I always wanted some. I hope I get to follow one of your hatches.

Yup! "Basket Case" doesn't begin to describe it ... although I'm pretty good at hiding it ... as long as you don't ask my kids about my state of mind. They'll tell it straight!
How long ago was the "way out on the coast of MD" member online? I've only been online for about a year, but I was searching for three before I found these. I'm wondering if I have a potential buddy lurking out here!
