Your chick is adorable! I had to go out to the feed store too when I had a lonely Japanese bantam. Before I bought an Easter Egger for her she would fly out of her box, squeeze under the bedroom door and she always knew where to find me. Now since I bought her a companion, everything quiets down and there is a big change.

We’re going to the feed store here soon after eating lunch to get two chicks. The rain has finally calmed down enough. It rained all night long! Fingers crossed for a buff! We don’t have any of those yet. I want a speckled Sussex but I know that’s highly unlikely to be there. Or a laced something. Just something different.

After some more rain delay we’re finally leaving, it’s just not going to stop raining. Oh well, we’ll be careful.

Hopefully! We made it to the place we’re eating lunch at and the store is right down the road from there. Luckily since it’s been raining so much not a lot of people are out on the roads.

We have babies! One is straight run EE and the other is a NH pullet, I’m hoping I pulled two pullets. We’re trying to replace our other two from our pullet order who turned out to be boys
