That's good- I am so excited can't wait till hatch day! I have the itch to do some incubation myself... It's been a while since I hatched. Last batch we're polish frizzle and Americana chicks- 99%hatch rate -Thank you!! That’s what I was kinda guessing, I have it at 30 right now. Eeeeeek so close to lockdown!!

I've only incubated eggs once (my ladies are just now starting to lay) and it was super stressful, so I can't imagine the stress/excitement of all double yolkers!
Cedar should never be used with birds. Pine is fine and recommended.Tomorrow is lockdown day so I thought I’d start setting up the little brooder box I made!

Question for all you lovely duck keepers, what do you recommend for bedding? I’ve read people use puppy pee pads which seems like a good choice? Also bought a few anti-slip bath mats and I thought I’d put those in and sprinkle them with pine shavings but I’ve read mixed reviews on the use of shavings. Thoughts?
