Duck Eggs in Lockdown - Peeping but no pips?

That's what I was thinking too, I'd definitely help the wrong ender first because she has been sticking her beak out since like yesterday I believe. I think she is ready... I'll wait for a second opinion though like you suggested.

Wrong end and away from air cell pippers need at least double the time as normal... since their pips are internal AND external in one, you need to add together the usual time from internal pip to external pip to zip before assisting... looks like they're getting good air, just monitor for now... you can slowly start widening their holes by tonight... if they start to turn under the shell, widen the hole so they don't turn away from it and suffocate...

Just read it :)

Thank you for the advice. I will dab a little bit of coconut oil on the membrane just to make sure it doesn't dry out and give them more time

No problem! :)

Sounds good... just be prepared for them to take longer to get on their feet good as well... may need to leave them in the bator for a while after hatching so the others don't overwhelm them...

Gorgeous group you have already! :thumbsup

Here's she is :jumpy The pipped egg is right next to her :)
